03 / WORKFLOW

From data and design to the physical label
in four straightforward steps.

A structured workflow keeps your labeling process reliable, fast, and repeatable.

SCHRITT 01

Select or Design

Choose an existing template or design a new layout with text, dynamic data placeholders, and barcodes.

SCHRITT 02

Connect Data

Feed records from imported files, manual entry, or connected database tables into the template.

SCHRITT 03

Inspect Preview

Check the rendered label visual or PDF sheet preview to verify layout and barcode positioning.

SCHRITT 04

Send & Track Job

Output native printer commands to your network printer or spooler. The job status is logged.

04 / INTEGRATIONS

Tailored process integration
for your business operations.

Depending on your configuration, labeling actions can be embedded into operational workflows such as production, inventory, goods receiving, or shipping.

Workflow Integration Areas

Printing can be aligned with operational triggers (configuration-dependent, agreed per deployment):

  • ℹ Production & Manufacturing: Typenschilder, batch labels, and part tracking
  • ℹ Warehouse & Goods Receiving: Pallet tags, bin location labels, and inventory barcodes
  • ℹ Shipping & Logistics: Package labels and delivery routing barcodes

Optional SAP Business One Integration

A dedicated connection to SAP Business One can be established for automated print workflows:

  • ✓ Read-Only Data Access: Retrieves item and master data without modifying or writing data in SAP
  • ✓ Customer-Specific Setup: Setup and data triggers are aligned individually
  • ℹ Scope Notice: Arbitrary third-party ERP integrations are not included as standard
05 / SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Clear user requirements.
Verified printer setup.

We distinguish transparently between workplace browser requirements, label printer specifications, and custom integrations.

General User Requirements

For daily access in your browser, standard workplace equipment is fully sufficient:

  • ✓ Modern Web Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge
  • ✓ Network / Internet: Reachable connection to the application server
  • ✓ User Accounts: Logins with appropriate designer or operator permissions

Printers & Environment

Printer models, network interfaces, and database sources are verified and tailored in consultation:

  • ℹ Supported Printer Model: Hardware supporting ZPL II, TSPL/TSPL2, EPL2, or CAB JScript
  • ℹ Connection Method: Reachable network printer (TCP/IP) or configured print spooler
  • ℹ Label Media & Resolution: Alignment of roll/sheet dimensions, DPI, and material
  • ℹ Data Sources & SAP: Database connection or optional SAP Business One setup
06 / CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS

07 / FAQ

Questions and answers
about the label printing system.

Straightforward answers about designer features, printer compatibility, and integrations.

Can I design and customize label templates myself?

Yes. The system includes a visual template designer allowing you to place text boxes, dynamic data placeholders, barcodes, QR codes, and graphic elements. Dimensions, orientation, and print resolution are configured directly in the template.

Which barcodes and QR codes can be used on labels?

You can integrate standard linear barcodes (such as Code 128, EAN, Code 39) as well as 2D codes (like QR codes and DataMatrix) into your labels and link them to static values or dynamic data fields.

Which printers and printer languages are supported?

The system supports label printers communicating via ZPL II, TSPL/TSPL2, EPL2, or CAB JScript (e.g. many models from Zebra, TSC, Godex, or CAB). Concrete compatibility depends on the specific printer model, its firmware, and interface configuration.

Can I check a preview before sending print jobs?

Yes. You can inspect the label layout in a live preview before printing. Depending on the configured format, PDF previews or sheet layouts (for specific Zweckform/Avery formats) can also be rendered.

Can the system generate labels from existing databases or data imports?

Yes. You can print labels for selected single records, complete imported datasets, or manually entered values. Where configured, connected database tables can also serve as live data sources.

Is an integration with SAP Business One possible?

An integration with SAP Business One can be tailored for configured automated print workflows. This integration operates in read-only mode and does not write data back into SAP. Arbitrary ERP support is not standard.

What are the technical requirements for operation?

For users, a modern web browser and network access are sufficient. For physical label printing, a compatible label printer is required (as a reachable network printer or via spooler). Printer model, interface, and data sources are verified during consultation.

How can I learn about terms and conditions?

The software is offered on fair, tailored terms. Following an initial discussion regarding your printer fleet, template count, and data connections, we gladly provide an individual proposal.
